Outstanda Anti-SPAM Policy

Outstanda does not tolerate SPAM. The entire system is optimized for professional, permission-based electronic newsletter and magazine publishing. Any client using Outstanda for SPAM will be investigated and removed from the system if found in violation. Please forward any case of suspected SPAM to abuse@outstanda.com.

If you feel there you have been spammed, there are several options that could have resulted in your receiving a publication that you were not expecting without actually having been spammed.

1. Someone signed up your e-mail.
2. You have an existing relationship with the publisher/vender and you gave them your e-mail.
3. You signed up, there may have been a delay in publishing, and you forgot.

Outstanda makes every effort to not allow SPAM.

1. Each publication has a valid unsubscribe link. Follow that link and you will be permanently removed from that particular publication. The publisher cannot add you back to the list.
2. All reports of SPAM are tracked and investigated. Clients who repeatedly break the license agreement are removed from the system.
3. We clearly state in our license agreement that the system cannot be used for unsolicited mailings.
4. Our focus is on professional publications, not solely e-mail marketing. While there is often some marketing in these publications, it is rarely the primary focus.

Clients accused of SPAM
It is possible for a client to use our system and get some complaints of SPAM without intentionally breaking our policy. To be fair to our publishers, we keep exact statistics on all reports comparing number of e-mails sent and number of complaints. Those publishers having an excessive number of complaints will receive a written warning reminding them of the terms of service. If we continue to see excessive complaints about SPAM from the same client, they will receive a final warning. If the problem persists, we deactivate the client account. They may appeal our decision and it is up to our judgment after reviewing their e-mail list policies to allow them to reactivate their account.

Our service depends on having a high level of integrity and being a trusted source of e-mail. Otherwise, our e-mails would frequently be filtered out by large ISPs. Outstanda places the highest importance on resolving SPAM issues in a way that is fair to publishers and e-mail recipients.

Outstanda reserves the right to modify our SPAM policy at any time and to terminate the account of any client without the above steps if we deem the violation of our terms of service as excessive.
